Michael Zuraw's versatility as a performer has earned him prizes as both a soloist and collaborative artist.  He is a consecutive two-time winner of the Silberman Chamber Music competition and has gathered many honors in solo performance.  In 1996 Mr. Zuraw was a winner of the Pittsburgh Concert Society Auditions, which presented him in recital at Duquesne University.  Further Performances include a Young Artist Concert at the Aspen Music Festival and numerous solo, vocal, and chamber performances in Houston, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Freeport, and Chicago.  Mr. Zuraw gave the premiere performance of John Richey's Variations (1993), which was later recorded and released by Capstone records.  A graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, University of Illinois, and Carnegie Mellon University, Mr. Zuraw earned his Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at Rice University.  He is currently on the faculty at St. John's School in Houston.

Continually praised for her versatility and breadth of repertoire, soprano Tracy Rhodus shines in many genres including opera, oratorio, musical theater, art song, and contemporary art music.  Return operatic engagements include roles with Teatro Grattacielo at Lincoln Center and Bellevue Opera.  Ms. Rhodus has twice been a regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions and placed fifth in the nation in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Artist Awards competition.  She has premiered works for the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, Foundation for Modern Music, and Houston Composer's Alliance.  Ms. Rhodus holds a Master of Music degree and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Rice University.

Andrew Copper has been heard as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe.  Mr. Copper currently lives and performs in New York City.  A founding member of the NuBotl Chamber Players, he has recently performed with the ensemble at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.  Upon completing a fellowship at the European Mozart Academy in Warsaw, Poland in 1998 he toured Poland, Germany, Italy, and Israel with the Pan Wind Quintet.  Mr. Copper holds degrees in performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Carnegie-Mellon University.  Past Teachers have included Myron Bloom, Michelle Baker, and Kazimierz Machala.

Christian Schubert has been a member of the Houston Symphony since his appointment by Maestro Christoph Eschenbach in 1996.  Other symphonic positions have included chairs in the Grant Park Symphony, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Ravinia Festival Orchestra, the American Ballet Theater Orchestra, the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra, and the Schlesswig Holstein Musik Festival under the Baton of Maestro Leonard Bernstein.  His solo appearances have included performances with the Scandanavian Symphony, the Long Beach Mozart Festival, and the Southfield Symphony Orchestra.  Mr. Schubert has been featured in several recordings as both a soloist and symphonic player.  His playing has also been heard in various radio and television broadcasts.  A native of Los Angeles, Mr. Schubert is a graduate of Northwestern University. As a teacher, he has served on the faculties of North Park College in Chicago and the University of Houston.

Stephanie Shih-yu Cheng has performed extensively in the U.S., France, Italy, Japan, and Taiwan to great critical acclaim.  Her solo and collaborative engagements have brought her to many of the world's major music centers including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Dame Myra Hess Series in Chicago, Opera City Hall of Tokyo, National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and National Concert Hall of Taipei.  She has distinguished herself as a prize winner in the Kingsville International Competition, IBLA Grand Prize Competition in Italy, and the Association of Pianists and Piano Teachers of America International Piano Competition.  Ms. Cheng's Performances have been featured on both radio and television in North America, Europe, and Asia.  Her teachers have included Ann Schein, Raymond Hanson, and Gilbert Kalish with whom she gained her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at SUNY at Stony Brook.  Currently residing in New York City, she is on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music Precollege and Queensborough Community College where she is an Assistant Professor of Music.

Andrés Gonzalez has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player throughout the United States, Venezuela, and Europe.  His playing has earned him many opportunities to appear as a soloist with several distinguished symphonic ensembles.  Mr. Gonzalez  has been featured as a guest artist with the Ocala Symphony, the Sunrise Symphonic Pops, New World School Symphony Orchestra, and the Sewanee Summer Music Festival Orchestra.  A native Texan, Mr. Gonzalez now resides in the Houston area where he regularly performs with the Mercury Baroque Ensemble, Houston Grand Opera Orchestra, and the Houston Chamber Orchestra.  He is also a recitalist and performs regularly as a member of the Tio Metropolitain.

Daniel Saenz has played concerts throughout the United States, Japan, and France.  He recently relocated to Houston from Paris, where he toured as a member of the string octet Les Violins Virtuouses.  Mr. Saenz currently performs as a member of the Maggini String Orchestra.  He has performed concerts at the Aspen and Texas music festivals and future engagements include a tour of Japan in the summer of 2007.  A native of Texas from the Rio Grande valley, Mr. Saenz teaches cello in the Houston area and is currently on the faculty at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.  Past teachers have included Desmond Hoebig, Pamela Frame, Alan Harris, Richard Clark, and Carter Enyeart.  Mr. Saenz hold degrees in cello performance from Rice University and the Eastman School of Music.
