In addition to performing, Mr. Hauschildt is also passionate about working with our youth.  He is currently on faculty at Texas A&M where he teaches courses on classical music and music of the Americas.  He enjoys working with younger students as well.  He has conducted the Greater Houston Youth Orchestra, he coaches the Houston Youth Symphony, and he maintains an active private percussion studio.

Currently, he is a candidate for a doctorate from the Rice University, Shepherd School of Music under the tutelage of Richard Brown.  Before coming to Houston, he studied with Dane Maxim Richeson at the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, WI.
